  • Software series:
    • server: a ap d e f k l n t tcl x y
    • desktop: +xap and -t (if replaced with TeX Live)
    • not used: kde kdei xfce
  • /etc/termcap should be replaced with the termcap file from the xterm source because it has the xterm-256color entry
  • # ln -sf /usr/bin/vim /usr/bin/vi
  • # chmod -x /etc/profile.d/bsd-games-login-fortune.sh
