  • Download the special edition mfsBSD USB memstick image
https://mfsbsd.vx.sk/files/images/14/amd64/mfsbsd-se-14.1-RELEASE-amd64.img
  • dd if=mfsbsd-se-14.1-RELEASE-amd64.img of=/dev/sda bs=1M
where /dev/sda is the boot drive.
Reboot
  • mkdir /mnt/dist
  • mount /dev/ada0p3 /mnt/dist
  • mkdir /usr/freebsd-dist
  • cp /mnt/dist/14.1-RELEASE/*.txz /usr/freebsd-dist/
  • umount /mnt/dist
  • bsdinstall
